2 ability cards? Empty 2 ability cards?

The real-life bakugan rules say that you may only use 1 ability card for the match. I was watching the show this morning, and Shun, as well as Marucho used 2 different ability cards. In fact, Marucho used 2 IN A ROW, like on the same turn, back to back! How is this possible? I think someone did something wrong.

It's just that I always thought that the real-life rules were the same as the show's rules.

on the tv show you can use 3 ability cards in an intire brawl.that means he just used 2 out of the ablitys that he had
